Welcome! Besides a writer, I am a certified teacher who strives to boost literacy confidence through my In a Flash writing program and inspire a love of history as an educator and guide at Fort Ligonier, a French and Indian War museum and resurrected 1700’s fort. This is particularly interesting to me since our Ligonier property was settled during America’s revolutionary era after my own Mayflower ancestors made their mark in New England. As we work to revive our centuries-old property, family time is spent caring for this hobby farm named Foxtrot, surrounded by the beauty of Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands. While I find much of my own inspiration during peaceful moments in the vegetable garden, my books are never dull and neither is life.
